How this works
Career Discovery™ has two core parts: Career Identity, and Future Priorities. Your Career Directions report is the outcome of Parts 1 and 2. After that, Reflections & Next Steps is recommended, but not required. The process is a structured interview, not a chat. You will be asked one question at a time, and each answer informs the questions that follow. Answer honestly rather than impressively: the quality of the analysis depends entirely on it.
Before Part 1, we recommend you add your CV or a downloaded LinkedIn profile (PDF), so the interview starts from what is already known. It is optional and the process can work without these documents too. You can delete your data and files at any time once your Career Discovery™ process is completed.
Part 1: Career Identity + Part 2: Future Priorities → Career Directions
Understanding who you are today
Starting from your CV, you're interviewed one question at a time on your experience, strengths, motivators, frustrations and preferred ways of working. Contradictions get named, not smoothed over.
Time: around 60 minutes
You receive- Your Career Identity report, a ten-area summary, each point traced back to what you actually said
- Your top 3 to 5 key insights, in plain language
- Named contradictions and blind spots worth exploring further
- An honest confidence check before moving forward
Understanding the life you're building
A shorter, sharper interview, up to five questions, on what's changing in your life, what you're no longer willing to compromise on, and the impact you want your work to have.
Time: around 60 minutes
You receive- Your Future Priorities report, covering priorities, lifestyle goals, values and constraints
- Your top insights on how this reshapes the picture from Part 1
- A clear view of what's still assumption versus what's confirmed
Turning understanding into direction
Two scenarios, side by side: the realistic path if you're job-hunting within the year, and the ambitious path if the sky were the limit.Core outcome of Career Discovery™
Time: Reflect on your own time
You receive- 3 to 5 realistic directions, scored on fulfilment, hireability and future potential
- 2 to 3 “sky's the limit” directions, with the first practical step for each
- Directions you can prioritise for a closer look
Weighing the directions against each other
After the map, a short comparative reflection helps you weigh the directions against each other: what you could be hired for now, what genuinely interests you, and where the longer-term potential sits. It closes with what came through, a comparison of the directions you prioritised, and the first practical steps.
Time: Flexible, at your own pace
You receive- Your Reflections & Next Steps report
- A side-by-side comparison of the directions you chose to explore
- A consolidated Career Discovery™ report that brings your Career Identity, Future Priorities and Reflections together
